Today is the 43rd day since Ben fell off of his long board. He has been in rehab all morning--walking on the treadmill, shooting baskets from odd positions, going through speech therapy, and so on.
In speech therapy today, Ben had to remember all 12 months and what holiday each one had in it. He then went through tasks and put the steps in order from 1-4.
We also thought it would be good to play Monopoly with Ben, so that he could sharpen his global domination skills.
Someone asked if Ben remembers his accident at all. The answer is no, not at all. Others are worried about his height. Ben is only 6'4" tall, but when he wears his shoes and helmet, it boosts him up to something closer to 6'7" or 6'8". Hopefully, he won't be growing any taller.
Today, Ben's head has swollen a little, so that he doesn't have much indentation showing in it. Apparently, that's rather normal for the swelling level to vary quite a bit.
