Today is the 34th day since Ben fell off of his long board, and today we got two three pieces of good news.
First, Ben has been approved to eat now, and is dining on soups, and chicken nuggets.
Second, Ben got the IV taken out of his leg today, so that he is mobile.
Third, Ben has been approved to transfer to the Primary Children's Medical Center in Salt Lake, where he will begin rehabilitation. They will be moving him on Wednesday!
Today's picture shows Ben with his brother Forrest and Forrest's fiancee Kaitlyn. You can see how much the swelling has gone down today by the size of the crater in Ben's skull where his skull cap has been removed.
You will also note that Ben is feasting on McDonald's chicken McNuggets, the very finest in chicken nuggets. Thank you, Ronald McDonald, for your hospitality in Las Vegas.
