Update from Sunday, April 7th, 2013

Ben's Condition tonight: It has been four days now since Ben's long-boarding accident. His face is still swollen, but that's going down. 

He has developed a lung infection, but with the bruising to his lungs, that is to be expected. So they have started him on two types of antibiotics.

In the morning he gets another MRI, to check for strokes and other forms of brain damage, and we should find out pretty clearly what kinds of trouble he is going to have. Our nurse talked about a young man with similar injuries, and I have to admit that it sounds scary. The other boy can "kind of walks" after two years. But us Wolvertons have thicker heads than most, so we're trying to keep a positive outlook until tomorrow. We know that Ben will want to show off his battle scars, so here we go:
