Update on Ben Wolverton
It has now been 63 days since Ben fell off his longboard.
He has been resting at home this week, playing risk with friends, watching movies, and just hanging out. So there is nothing too exciting going on. The biggest concern has been to make sure to get his seizure medicine on time. Oh, and more and more medical bills are rolling in. I'm sticking with my estimate of $1.2 million still, though it's looking closer to 1.3.
Tomorrow, Ben's older brother Spencer will be leaving to go on his mission, so we're going to drive up to Provo to drop Spencer off. We won't see him again for two years.
Once we are done, Mary and I decided that we are tired of being cooped up in hospitals and the house. We all have cabin fever, so we will be heading north to visit some friends for a bit.
This has been a roller-coaster couple of months, with Ben's accident, Forrest getting married, Spencer going on a mission, and Lola getting a divorce. (I haven't mentioned the divorce yet. She only sued for divorce about a week or two after Ben's accident, and it was finalized two weeks ago.)
